Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus a Master's Degree in the relevant field from a government-recognized institution
- Relevant professional certification where applicable — NBA, MDCN, COREN, NSE, ICAN, ANAN, CPN, etc.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate, Certificate of Exemption, or Letter of Exclusion
- Demonstrable practical knowledge and competence in the relevant field
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital tools
Category B — Administrative Officer II / Registration Area Officer (Grade Level 08)
This category is open to graduates with qualifications in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Sciences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Sciences from a recognized institution
- NYSC Discharge Certificate, Certificate of Exemption, or Letter of Exclusion
- Good knowledge of data management and record keeping
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant ICT tools
Category C — Executive Officer / Assistant Registration Area Officer (Grade Level 07)
This category is open to NCE holders and equivalent qualification holders.
Requirements:
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and data handling
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under supervision within assigned Registration Areas
General Requirements — Who Can Apply?
In addition to the specific qualifications above, all applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth or descent
- Must present a valid Certificate of State of Origin duly signed by the Chairman or Secretary of their Local Government — certificates endorsed by Liaison Officers will NOT be accepted
- Must be computer literate
- Must be certified by a Government Medical Officer as physically and mentally fit for appointment
- Must not be above 35 years of age at the point of application
- Must possess good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence
- Must be willing to serve in any part of the Federation where assigned
- Must possess integrity, discipline, and commitment to Public Service
